Worth the watch but don't measure it against any really good thriller, this is just a no-brainer entertainment option. Back in the day, when Bruce Willis and Richard Gere were at the top of their game, this was much more interesting than it is today. Gere's accent is about as horrible as most (but not all) of his acting, but Bruce taking out Jack Black takes this from a 4/10 to 8/10 on that alone.

Mediocre action thriller with a big miscast (Richard Gere). You can skip this flick without second thoughts because there are so many better action movies available!

Cosmopolitan and action-packed, but in the end he is killed by a good ETA member!

Sometimes you get lucky when you switch around on the TV and find the start of a movie...and sometimes you don't.

The Jackal was one of the movies I had on Laserdisc back in the day. I seem to remember it somewhat better than it apparently is. Bruce Willis with a LOT of bad disguises. Richard Gere with the most laughable Irish accent ever. Sidney Poitier is just old. The list goes on and on...

The best part in the whole movie was the rather violent killing of Jack Black's character. I bet there's a lot of people that has dreamed about doing just that...

To be a little serious...If you want a good movie experience...look elsewhere. The Jackal is just mediocre, and you don't really lose anything by skipping it...

Made it to the 30 minute mark and gave up. It’s terrible. Maybe worth a watch for the corn factor, Willis’s terrible wigs and Gere’s appalling accent.

I loved this movie growing up. I had it tape off the TV. I hadn't seen it in decades. It's so painfully 90s. It doesn't have that fun factor that The Rock has. It's alright for a weekend afternoon if you want to feel nostalgic.
