If you're a fan of Luc Besson's other work then you'll enjoy this movie once you stop letting the "We only use 10% of our brains" myth stop bothering you.

I can't get enough of this movie! The questions raised and all the knowledge being the most important thing is amazing. She saying that "we never really die" and explaining about how the humanity created numbers and letters to kind of "adapt" everything to our size was pretty great. Scarlet's performance, the soundtrack and the visual effects are just a show aside for me. I'm sad that most of people actually didn't like the movie.

This is my kind of movie, and IMHO better to follow by European grown on such philosophers like Kant, Nietzsche, Einstein or Hawkings. Religious people would probably dislike this movie due to the obvious reasons. However, ones interested in modern philosophy would find the film intriguing, worth of second view for thinking again how Luc Besson presented some subjects. Don't forget that this is still a science fiction, and '10% of brain capacity' is just a vehicle to present some more complex concepts.

"Lucy" is a very interesting film that raises many questions and encourages reflection. In particular, Scarlett Johansson's excellent performance and the theme of transcendence make the film a true highlight for science fiction fans.

One of the great advantages of the film is that it is very visually designed and impressively shows how Lucy continually increases her abilities. The idea that the human brain, when fully utilized, is capable of transcending the body and achieving transcendence is very fascinating and creates a special dynamic in the film.

Another aspect of the film that makes it so interesting is the way in which Lucy increases her abilities from one level to the next. The percentage increase in her powers is portrayed in a very vivid way, allowing the viewer to experience firsthand how Lucy is continually evolving.

At the beginning of the film, Lucy had only used a small percentage of her brain capacity, but as she gained access to more and more of it, she was able to increase her powers. In the first stage, she gains full control over her own body, allowing her to do things that are impossible for normal humans. In the second stage, she can control and manipulate the bodies of other people by hacking their brains. In the third stage, she has the ability to control matter and can, for example, neutralize weapons or make people pass through walls.

The fourth stage is complete transcendence, where Lucy gains complete control over time and space. In this stage, she can manipulate the universe and everything in it, becoming a higher, transcendent entity.

Overall, "Lucy" is a very fascinating film that raises many questions and encourages reflection.

However, there are also some unanswered questions and criticisms. For example, the origin of the drug is unclear, which could disappoint many viewers. It is also not fully explained what Lucy will do with her newly acquired power and what impact it could have on the world.

Nevertheless, the film is very well structured and vividly portrays the stages that Lucy goes through to ultimately gain complete control over time and matter. Director Luc Besson, also known for films like "Léon: The Professional" and "The Fifth Element", has once again demonstrated his talent and created a visually impressive and thematically profound film.

In summary, "Lucy" is a very fascinating film that is definitely worth watching due to its themes and Scarlett Johansson's performance as the lead actress. I also hope that there will be a sequel that will answer some of the unanswered questions and further develop the plot.

A movie that is so thought provoking it might prod your brain until it overloads like a NASA PC. Anyway, I love these types of movies, they bring something new to the table and Scarlett Johansen is brilliant in this well written sci-fi thriller. Well worth the 100% watch, just don't go out of your way to give any old suitcase to any fellow out there; or do, who knows what might follow.. If you enjoyed Ex Machina you'd probably like this.
