The Walking Dead: Dead City

Maggie and Negan travel to post-apocalyptic Manhattan - long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made it a world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.

I really enjoyed it as well as it being slower paced since that’s where the emotion comes out. I felt like the episodes had a lot of content and good story arcs and it was great to see a short series focussing on Negan and Maggie’s relationship.
The best TWD spinoff yet. The other comments are just hating for no reason.
Daryl Dixon - unwatchable due to language
The ones to live - romantic comedy
Dead city - great setting, two best characters and decent story and some action.
I thought this would be bad, especially after watching Tales, but this was pretty good. There is a massive difference in quality between this show and Tales, and I wonder why?
❤x7
I'm kind of liking these shorter story runs for the spin-offs.
I really liked this show - the semi-respect/hate relationship between Maggie and Negan is really interesting and a whole lot sad. Negan is a constant reminder to her for what he did toher husband Glen. But at the same time he has proven over and over again over the years that he is no longer that man. So it is kinda fun to watch that relationship develop.
Also - it seems either I fell asleep or somehow just completely missed a whole plot point that culminates in the final episode. So, I'm not sure if that's on me or the writers. I'll have to re-watch to figure it out.
How I rate:
1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too
9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
I hate how every scene must be cinematic and dramatic. With this loud shitty "creepy" music and sounds playing all the time. And most conversations are just them telling old stories to each other.
Just another spinoff. Why did I expect it to be good? Oh, right… Because of Negan. His character is so lost after all that time.
It's definitely better than some seasons of TWD. I think it's pretty enjoyable. The stroyline holds together pretty well in this first season, and the cast is good. If you managed to watch the whole 11 seasons of the original show, you should give this a try.
Definitely isn't the worst spin-off, however suffers from the exact problem as every other. Way too many plot lines.
The Walking Dead's biggest mistake was trying to build up too many characters and somehow tie them up together in a climatic season - it failed so many times. Fear The Walking Dead started as the exact opposite and told just enough characters within the plot. It was a success, but then it just became another The Walking Dead.
This is nothing new. I don't suppose Darryl Dixon will be any different.
This generic idea of storytelling just needs to end.
Probably the worst spin off. 3 episodes in, and it's boring and stupid.
This show is so stupid and boring. Definitely the worst spin off in the walking dead franchise.
i stopped actually watching the walking dead when Negan appeared
by the doubt saw on newspaper that new serie would be bring
gave this a try, watched all episodes, going fast
its more of the same, same style same thing. i wont be watching season 2
makes no sense the kids running in middle of zombies and getting out alive
