The Librarians: The Next Chapter

A Librarian from the past time travels to the present and finds himself stuck here. When he returns to his castle, which is now a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent. He is given a new team to help him clean up the mess he made, forming a new team of Librarians.
Two episodes have been released and so far this fails to capture the full charm of its predecessors but it still has the same silly magical adventure feel that the others had. Having characters from the past series are a welcome touch which keeps this from being too harsh of a transition. These new actors are a good enough fit and Jessica Green is a very beautiful person to watch in action.
The entire Librarians series and its movies were never something to rave about but they have been fun to watch and they are family safe, this series is as well. Overall the visual effect are better than ever. The lore is a little more flimsy but being this late in the story line I'd expect this with the obvious artifacts having already been previously covered. The stories are a tad weak but maybe that is just because it seems like they are only aiming to entertain a very young audience while the other series put a little more effort in for the adults.
