and POLICEU DARK ARMY.
I must admit the story is getting very repetitive. But the action is still good and I like it when bad people get what they deserve, so...
"The Roundup: Punishment" delivers what fans of the franchise have come to expect: enthralling action sequences and a magnetic performance from lead actor Dong Seok.
While the storyline may be predictable and lacking in twists, Dong Seok's screen presence and comedic timing make up for it. His punches are a delight to watch, and his humor adds an extra layer of enjoyment. Kim Moo-yul is equally impressive as the ruthless antagonist, providing a strong contrast to Dong Seok's heroism. Despite its paper-thin plot, the film is an entertaining watch, especially for fans of Dong Seok. If you're new to the franchise, this installment is a great starting point, and you'll soon find yourself hooked on the series. Overall, "The Roundup: Punishment" is a fun, action-packed ride that delivers on its promise of thrills and laughs.

Basically the same movie as its two predecessors: a silly action comedy.
Entertaining, as it is but if there are really going to be five more movies in this series, there will have to be more substance.
The formula presented is still the same as the previous films. But this is actually unique for the **The Roundup** franchise. While other films create different formulas from the previous films, **The Roundup** comes with only one formula.
Well, it has proven successful, who knows until when. But this is inseparable from the charisma of **Ma Seok-do**.
And still the same as the previous films, the actions presented are still badass, especially the punching of **Ma Seok-do** himself.
I felt the series is starting to go down. It was overall less interesting. Less fights, less funny parts, less time abroad also.
Baek Chang-gi, the main villain, was probably the highlight. But since he's mostly fighting against the other villains, he felt under used. And it's not clear why it focused on making it more personal for Ma Seok-do than the previous ones. Was pretty useless.
The comic relief part felt mosty on Jang I-soo instead of the main character. I found him way too stupid and exaggerated so it's a bit of a let down too.
The pseudo technical stuff was absolutely ridiculous, with the so called expert's only contribution being to repeatedly ask "did you get the IP ?" like it was something mysterious and hard to get and not public information.
