Out of all the movies John McTiernan has directed, Rollerball is the one that sticks out in a rather negative way. Weird pacing, rather bad script, and, at times, horrible acting, makes it a chore to get through. Leave this one be.

Probably best not to bother. A really loose plot (ignore those major holes!) smothered in "action shots" and a music / crowd noise - RollerBall sounds like it offers lots. But doesn't.

This remake was one of the worst decisions in Hollywood history, but at least they did it horribly. I notice McTiernan hasn't had much work since this stinker hit the water.
