The Picture of Dorian Gray

I've never read the book so I can't judge if it's a faithful adaptation or not. I absolutely loved this film! Eerie and haunting 40s black and white horror drama. It felt too long but beside that, everything about it was just wonderful. I loved the painting. The use of color and the transition really surprised me. Love the beautiful sets, the chilling score, the dialogue, it's incredibly well put together. The performers were phenomenal, although I'm not so sure about the lead. THAT scene scared me and potentially giving me nightmare.
