Breathtakingly relentless violence and sadism posing as ironic humor. Another depressing Tarentino wannabe without any mercy. Some excellent acting, music, character studies and perhaps insight into today's Russia. If mindless violence and psychotic anti-heroes are your thing you'll love it. Balabanov has done great film. This isn't one of them.
