I watched this show years ago, never saw the sequel movie, figured why not get on that and use the recap movie as a refresher? My thoughts now are the same then: I’m here for Sanae and Shinka. The Yuuta Rikka romance screams comphet on her end, personally. Anyway this does not standalone as a movie and cuts out key parts of the story while not committing to the POV conceit that could’ve made it stand on its own, but what’s there is fun and Shinka and Sanae steal the show. If you’re a fan, this is a perfectly serviceable recap and slice of the show you love.
