Barking Dogs Never Bite

Debut full length feature by "Memories of Murder", "Snowpiercer", or "Mother" director, Bong Joon-ho.
7.5/10 , surprisingly good dark comedy, the lows are heavily outweighed by great moments of absurdity, insanity, and laugh out loud comedy.

It's most fascinating as the start of an acclaimed director's career. The black comedy, the class consciousness, the masterful and moody shots... it's all here. It's unrefined and blunt, but there's a charm to that.

Nice little movie. Some funny moments.

Nope, once again I fail to find asian "comedy" funny and all the animal abuse doesn't help.
