Kinda scary movie. Suspenseful throughout and also kinda well done. I mean the effects are pretty good and the acting too. The story has its flaws though, but at least it managed to be interesting most of the time.

Whilst not wholly original, this is an effective Irish horror with decent special effects and some disturbing imagery. Recommended.

Another good Irish horror film. Part folk horror, part creature feature with some nice body horror moments. Joseph Mawle and Bojana Novakovic both give ok performances in their respective roles, but their characters can get quite irritating at times. However, what this film lacks in compelling characters, it makes up for in its Irish setting and solid creature designs. The location is beautiful to look at and the camera makes good use of the locations the film uses. It doesn't take long for the crazy stuff to start and when it does it doesn't stop. There's some nice integration of CGI and excellent make-up and practical effects. Because they look great and scary, the film isn't afraid of showing the creatures, so I'd recommend if you're a big fan of creature horror.

I liked the practical effects and the movie looked good. It wasn't scary or too gory. It was just a fun monster flick and I'm always good with that.

The hallow is interesting since it's based off of fairies as they are in Irish folklore (negative and demonic) compared to the often interchangeable pixie (positive).

While I enjoyed the setting and the idea of the villain, I think it was executed poorly.

Very mild spoiler: I hate that they made the "fairies" possessed by a parasitic fungus. It does add body horror, but I would have preferred the monsters just be monsters without some fungus causing it

It was good, but I wish they had spent a little more time on story instead of the hour-long ending.

Actually a pretty decent horror movie. I would’ve given it one more star but the husband does some pretty stupid things, not a bad movie to watch ,if you liked the Hallow then you’ll like this

Average horror flick. Not great, but not terrible either. Worth a watch if you have 90mins to kill.

Maybe a bit too obvious, but I liked the fae represented in some way or other. Fun idea to bring the whole mushroom thing into it.
Otherwise, quite bland. No big surprises. Looking through keyholes is a bad idea.
