Why the hell it took me so long to watch this, I'm not sure! Vin Diesel NEVER disappoints and the graphics are Ah-mazing! This film was a Total Ninja! Best scene 1:34:42 to 1:35:15. Totally orgasmic!

I can't really describe all those feelings that I had watching this movie. I knew most of the people did not liked this movie so I hoped for the worst. Suddenly I found myself enjoying and laughing with this new movie. So, I highly recommend to everyone who likes action, simple and Vin Diesel even added a little twist in it.

I don't understand the "hate". I loved everything about the movie and sincerely think that it was hell of a superhero gig. Though it may not be perfect it is generally enjoyable, CGI was well made (except for a weird "faster than real" bird view) and acting was spot on for a superhero movie. (Marvel doesn't have much better, I'd call it a tie, these are still superhero movies.) Don't judge this movie as you would judge an academy-winning story about racism or women rights. Its strengths are at different places and that is a good thing.

well, i really enjoyed it.

Very nice fast-paced action/sci-fi movie, exceptionally good CGI, average semi-predictable plot, with a mix of good and cringe humor.
I think I enjoyed this movie much more because of the overwhelming negative reviews, my expectation were somewhat low so that might have helped a bit, but even then it kept surpassing itself, well-paced movie.

This incorporates a bunch of clichés, grabs some from Total Recall, Robocop, Terminator, Matrix, MCU. In the end I think it was well balanced, at least enough to be enjoyable and not provoking an eye-rolling at each turn, maybe with the exception of a few shots with Vin Diesel in a white tank-top. Speaking of, Vin Diesel was a good fit for the movie; not a great actor, but I do enjoy a few of his films. The Fast and Furious, and XxX franchises have become tiresome, Riddick was nice though, and this one is also a bit refreshing. Anyway, back to this movie, it's a good hero movie on par with the average Marvel's solo hero movie.

Anyway, if you like action and sci-fi movies with an okay story, this won't disappoint one bit.

I liked the movie. Story was pretty nice and the acting was good. For some reason I like these kind of movies [spoiler]with the twist you didn't expect when the movie started[/spoiler]

This was better than I expected given a lot of the negative reviews. Vin Diesel delivers again on the dark comics. Still prefer Riddick, but the effects here were awesome.

Pour some diesel on the fire and ignore the reviewers. This movie is a solid action flick.

Now that’s out of the way, I think people are u fair to his movies outright. Not without cause, but he has a type cast and some people don’t like it. This is _not that_ Diesel-esque but yeah it is.

They really bury the lead and I loved the twist. This was cruising for a trash rating from me but that saved it. Still, probably not going to like this if you’re not a pretty big vin fan. It’s not particularly well acted by anyone. The story is ok, predictable at some points. Certainly relies on a lot of contrived characterizations and watered down facsimiles. Plot structure is good, good pace and the story does go somewhere. I feel like they were aiming for “cerebral” and landed somewhere in the kidney area.

Also, this should really be approached as a sci-fi movie with action. It’s not a true action movie or any other genre.

Watch it if you like vin diesel, pass otherwise.
