A multi-dimensional interface between a comic book artist, a novelist, and a film director. Each lives in a separate reality but authors a story about one of the others.

A very clever concept. The animation is wonderful. The movie explores some interesting view points while allowing you (the viewer) to root along for the outcome. I wouldn't be surprised to see this on a top best stoner movie list as this years nominee.
All in all, a pretty interesting movie. I liked the concept a lot, just thought the execution could have been a bit better.
**A+ for concept D for execution**
The idea is fantastic, I just feel like it wasn't tied together as well as it could have been. This is the movie that Waking Life could have been if Waking Life had an actual plot.
I like the three-layer story. It's like a love triangle with sex and nudity right from the get-go, live-action mixed with comic-looking rotoscope animation that reminds me of _A Scanner Darkly_ (2006) but on a more comedic level. I think Ralph Bakshi would approve. I can see why Alison Phil was cast here because she was part of the _Scott Pilgrim vs The World_ (2010) movie.
