good movie... slightly predictable but enjoyed the movie

Starts a bit slow but then it's a good mix of suspense and comedy.

Really good movie with hugely entertaining performances by Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. It really feels like an old classic Hollywood film which is quite refreshing. I love the locations and the thrilling and at times funny story.

The Tourist is an exotic espionage thriller that’s entertaining and fun. While on vacation in Venice, Frank Tupelo is mistaken for a mobster named Alexander Pearce when he’s picked up by Pearce’s mistress, and ends up on the run from gangsters and Scotland Yard. Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, and Paul Bettany form a solid cast and deliver great performances. And there’s a certain charm to the story, and it’s ability to be clever and intriguing as the events unfold. Additionally, the directing is especially well-done, with a smart pace and beautiful locations. Some parts may seem formulaic, but overall The Tourist is a sleek and enjoyable film.

A romantic movie with nice shots of venice or a interesting, crime-like storyline with a big thread.

But the end is not bad. Also the actors try to give their best.
In the end: Not bad, but definitly a movie 'for the right mood'.

It's an alright movie. I decided to watch this due to the tiktok trend on the scene at the very beginning where Elise meets Frank for the first time. Do I feel my time has been wasted? No. I like how nostalgic this movie is, I'm 24 and the movies from the 2000s (although this is 2010) remind me of a simpler time. I quite enjoyed the movie, it's not amazing but it was nice to watch it while getting work done. I think both main actors gave a good performance. Angelina Jolie was very convincing in her role, enough for anyone to swoon over, no doubt Frank did. Johnny Depp was good as a bumbling American idiot, very different from his usual eccentric roles that I know him by. I like that Paul Bettany's performance wasn't bad either, this is definitely before he became a bigger name but it seems like he was never a bad actor to begin with. I think other than this is a very regular movie with good performances, the whole middle section with the Italian police and on was kinda boring. Started to feel like...what's going on now? Why is the time just ticking. But it wraps up well, and the ending was predictable the moment we got to the last scene. Yet, I enjoyed it. 6/10, would not watch again but enjoyed watching it as a time pass. Would recommend to another if they also just wanted a time pass or to see Angelina Jolie being enchanting.

Portuguese cable TV has been rerunning this lately, so I guessed I'd give it a try. I was expecting some huge train wreck, from the way people negatively oversold it back then, but, though it's not a great movie, and probably it's one of the weakest performances from both Angelina and Johnny I've seen so far (Paul Bettany, on the other hand, did a good job), it wasn't as bad as advertised. It has a way to keep you interested until the end.
All in all, it was an okay, watchable movie.

I always wanted movie with my favourite actors Johnny Depp and Angelina but this was really bad. I didn´t like it, I was bored and plot was also boring..
