This was way better than expected! Had a slow beginning but when it started, it really took off. Loved, loved, loved it!!!
*NO-SPOILER REVIEW*
I absolutely loved this movie. Samara Weaving is absolutely brilliant, and the entire first third of the movie feels like a kinda-okay teen babysitting movie, but then you realize it isn't. And then ten thousand wild things happen all at once.
This movie is PERFECT at 85 minutes long. It's one of the shortest recent movies I've seen, but what it does in this short time-frame is very tight. The pacing from the opening to the end credits is absolute perfection.
The ending is absolutely phenomenal and I very highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a journey, and be shocked or surprised as to where that journey led.
This is such a stupidly funny WTF movie.
The ending disappointed me a bit though. I didn't like the fact that Bee and Allison died. They were bad, but somehow they were still nice. This is one of those movies you just want the baddies and the good guys to make up and be happy together
That movie is fan-fckin-tastic! Such a ridiculous, horror comedy.
I expected something totally different when I went in to this movie and it topped everything. This was hilarious. Comedy horror done right! Love the cast, they brought the fun, the kid is great. Netflix seems to rock this genre, great movie!
Simply entertaining.
This film doesn't take itself seriously and provides plenty of laughs while scratching that horror itch.
A completely unexpected welcome to the comedy-horror genre
9/10 - Excellent film, always happy to rewatch
Movie in a nutshell was as if Emelie (2015) and Home Alone (1990) had a baby. Andrew Bach John made this movie for me - hilarious overall.
A blood soaked blast of raunchy goodness. I usually despise this particular sub-genre of horror film, _but_ I dug everything about it. Samara Weaving--who just became a new personal favorite--is scorching hot, radiant, and so much freaking _fun_ . . . I might have to watch it a few more times just to relive experiencing the first time I saw her and her electrically charged blonde hair and said, "_I like her_ . . ."
I gave this movie 8/10 just because I watched it without watching the trailer first and reading the story.. Basically I surprised myself with this movie so when I started watching I didn't have these negative thoughts about it, like it being stupid or boring therefore I think that made me enjoy the movie as it was without basing my opinion on other things.. I gotta say the movie was very enjoyable and funny, the cast acting was great especially the kid Cole, I was amazed of his acting skills.. Regarding the directing it was also very good especially the last scene with Cole.. In the end, I recommend this movie if you're looking for fun only not some deep sh*t
not the best horror/comedy movie in the world, but definitely a great one!
cool directing, nice cast and crazy script lmao
This was way better than expected! Had a slow beginning but when it started, it really took off. Loved, loved, loved it!!!
