Sons of the Desert

I've already watched this multiple times and I'm still getting my laughs out of it.

the scene when they are discovered in Honolulu by their wives is fantastic...

Classic Laurel and Hardy! Funny as the two try to fool their wives.... chaos ensues and nothing goes right. Great movie! A must watch.

My first Laurel and Hardy. Overall, I thought these two were probably the funniest comedy team I can think of (Stooges, Marxes, etc.) I enjoyed the well-developed jokes and respective personalities, and Laurel especially just had lovely timing. My criticism here would be that the jokes are all really run into the ground. The structure of the gags are reminiscent of the great silents, except they all go on just a beat or an iteration too long for my taste.
