Rewatching this 10+ years after first viewing I think this is a thriller that hold up compared to the shit we get these days.
The pacing is of it’s time and since it’s a thriller and not an action blockbuster it works well.
The plot is uncomfortable and somewhat believable.
Clive really is a great actor and so is Watts. The end is both annoying and logical.
