this was just the cutest family feature with animals. i do have a soft spot for those so I'm biased but still, it's rather cute, if we ignore the TERRIBLE CGI that happens every now and then
A feel good movie with a perfect ending. I cried through the whole movie as 2 of my dogs died in February in the same week. I loved Bellas commentary(one of my dogs was named Bella) Shows the true love a dog has for their owner.....unmatched by any human. Recommended watch.
****Touching family adventure****
Bella is born a stray in the narrow space under an abandoned house. When the rest of her family is impounded she is adopted into a human household. But when she grows up her new family sends her far away from home. I particularly liked, 'Big Kitten.'
I got a lot more out of this movie than I expected. It was just starting to drag after about a quarter hour but then the dog gets separated and the adventure begins. It reminded me a lot of, 'The Incredible Journey (1963).'
The acting is all solid and the message is heartfelt. It's a movie that reminds us to be grateful for man's best friend
My Score 7/10. (Recommended for watch in family)
Enjoyed it. It's no Milo and Otis or Homeward Bound, but it's a movie about a dog making it's way home over a long distance and I'll watch any and all of those.
This is a good, family-friendly movie. The only thing was it felt like too many stops along the way. By the time she was with the homeless guy I was so frustrated. 2 years is a long time. Also, the CGI on the cougar was very obvious in certain scenes, but other than that it was a fun movie with a touching ending.
Sucker for dogs movies all the way, this wasn't such a good one. Certainly a feel good movie, nice ending, cried of course. The CGI was really bad with the big cat.
I think the Bella voice was wrong casting and some things in the narration could be done differently. Loved the fact that not all animals were talking.
Some films will break your heart and touch your life forever. This is not one of those films, no matter how many times the script tries to wring tears from your eyes. This is one dog that should have stayed in the kennels. Sorry.
This movie would have been much better without the dog's narration.
When i watched the CGI i was thinking "Finally a movie that doesn't use animals to make money" but how wrong i was! The first half of the movie was SO BAD, the other half was average, the acting was awful, the sound mixing was horrible, shi*** plot and the Bella's voice ruined those few things that were "good".
