Morbius

Honestly I don't get the hate towards Morbius. I enjoyed the movie a lot. I don't know anything from the comics but I was sure entertained. Way better than what I've been seeing lately. Loved Jared Leto and Matt Smith they both were amazing. Sure hope for a team up from Morbius, Vulture and Venom haha that would be awesome. Make it happen Sony and Marvel

The ultimate Movie...no, Morbie has arrived.
When he turned to the camera, winked and said "ITS MORBIN TIME" The crowd and myself were all overwhelmed with a sense of joy and boundless euphoria.
This is PEAK storytelling.
This is peak cinema.

Its no secret why this movie made $267 Trillion in the box office and IS and will REMAIN the highest grossing movie in the history of mankind.
I'm glad I lived through and experience such a triumphant piece of cinema history.

After the movie aired, everyone who was in my theater stayed around and talked for hours about what we just witnessed. Some were shaking, some were at a complete loss for words. But the sense of community and togetherness this film brought is something that will never be recreated.

Ok, it's actually a 6 but I rated it a 10 because it's 10000 times better than Batman. Yes, it has a thin story and sometimes bad writing, but overall it's not worse than Spiderman or other Marvel movies. I have become a die hard Leto fan after his extraordinary performance in "WeCrashed" and unfortunately he couldn't show off his skills as Morbius. I don't think that it's his fault though. Maybe they should have taken the team from Moon Knight, that made another average Origin-story a great (short) series. Maybe a series would have been the better idea too. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and didn't have to leave the cinema, like with the recent Batman movie that was unbearable.

I don’t know why it go so many bad reviews. I know it is not the best movie. But it was very enjoyable. Very different to what I thought. Visual effects were great too.

I don't know what y'all are talking about, I loved this. Jared Leto playing a doctor ÁND a vampire?? Yes, please.

Finally! Not a childish MCU movie. I can see why everyone hates it. It's because they don't do silly forced jokes and no Disney ending. I can say it's not a masterpiece, but is not that bad as people say.

I truly think Jared Leto did a great job as the role. The overall atmosphere was good as well. There was just something missing. Part of it was a rushed enemy but something I can’t put my finger one. I’d recommend it but to watch once or twice.

I have to say that I quite liked this movie. A bit surprised since it is a new Marvel movie after all. It is even free of woke bull manure which made me even more surprised.

The “scientific” part of Morbius changing his DNA, overnight no less, by means of some serum that he derived from vampire bats is of course utter nonsense but one cannot really complain too much about that since it is straight from the original comic book character.

The story is really simple and not much to write home about but it works in its simplicity. After all, in this kind of movie we really do not need something fancy as long as it is not downright stupid. It only needs to be a vehicle for the action and special effects and for that purpose the story works fine.

I like Morbius. He is intelligent and he doesn’t just sink down in some self pity or whining sessions when he finds out that things did not go exactly as planned. Sure, he is not happy about it but at least he does research into his condition and he actually takes the effort to learn what he can do with his new powers.

I also do like the special effects and the action in general. The bad guy was rather predictable and not really very charismatic but he worked fairly okay. I think that most of the actors made a good enough job actually.

If I should complain about anything it was that scene in the beginning where they claimed that vampire bats could “finish off” big animals in minutes or something. That not what vampire bats do or how they feed. It is of course utter ignorant bull manure by some idiot script writer and it was really totally unnecessary to soil the movie with such nonsense already in the first scenes. I had hoped that ignorant script writers like that died out together with the last flying rubber Piranha in the early 80’s.

Anyway, I quite liked the movie. A lot of movies that I’ve watched lately have felt bloated and too long for the material. This one I actually felt was too short.
