So, Celestialsapien-fused reboot Vilgax is weaker than Malgax. Good to know.
It was a pretty lackluster showing for Vilgax's first time using an Omnitrix on himself, to be honest. He took very long to beat Kevin and Ben, couldn't kill Glitch, and turned into some amalgamation rather than using the aliens in a strategic way. But at least the amalgamation makes it pretty clear that the form we seen get beat by Way Big is a fusion and presumably weaker than the base alien going by the previously established rules. Maybe it'll be different but it seems that way for now.
