This is more comedy than horror, and I end up feeling sorry for the castle
Dialogue consisted of infodumps, some only tangentially connected to what was going on, acting was non-existent (it truly felt like many actors were just reading the script aloud instead of acting). One special effect was kind of cool, and the location looked spectacular.
I like to guess what will happen next. In one scene, I said:
“He’ll be scared, something will move or make a sound or there will be a mirror.” And sure enough, he was scared… by something that moved AND made a sound AND there was a mirror attached.
That’s how cliché and predictable the movie was.
Oof. Eek. Ugh. Ack. Yikes.
Big yikes.
This movie is beyond horrible. In fact, it was so bad I had to abandon it half-way through. Don't even waste your time *thinking* about wanting to watch it.
