[Netflix] The director establishes a game of representation and a reflection on the way of telling a story and the impact it can have on the receivers. Although the twist is predictable, Sam Hobkinson is less interested in surprise than in establishing a duality of the visual representation. The documentary flirts with mockumentary to reveal itself nevertheless as a vision of reality and its hidden corners.
Wasn’t 100% sure what to expect from this but I enjoyed it. I’m glad I didn’t google it beforehand as it would have ruined it!
