I'm probably repeating my earlier reviews but even though it's the weakest of the Shrek movies, it's still quite a lot of fun. And since I paid less attention to this one when growing up, there are a lot of scenes that feel new, wheras I know the other ones by heart.

Also heartwarming to see Shreku as a father.

My least favorite one even if it does have it’s moments. It just has too much of the whiny unfunny Artie (Justin Timberlake).

Saw the other 2 when they came out, decided to rewatch those and check out the third for the first time. I have to say this one packs in the most quick jokes, but it's just not as great of a story as the first two. The way they build jokes into the hit songs on the soundtrack is one of my favorite things. There are tons of subtle things that can easily go missed - I will probably eventually rewatch.

Justin Timberlake's voice work as Artie; a young King Arthur is totally irritating and a horrible addition. Artie is why I can barely get through this movie.
Shrek the 3rd is the most forgettable of the 4 films.

Shrek the Third has its moments, but it’s not quite as strong as the first two. The humor is still there, but the story feels a bit forced at times. It’s still fun, especially for fans, but it doesn’t hit as hard as the earlier films. 7/10.

Not nearly as funny as Shrek 2 but it had a number of moments that made me laugh. Puss, Pinnochio, and Gingerbread Boy continue to crack me up. If I were in control of this franchise I'd stop now, though.

To me, by far the weakest Shrek movie. The on the spot humour of the first two movies does not really work in this one. It feels like someone has censored too much, to the point of making the result dull and unlike the first two. For fans.

I always feel this is overwritten and little baggy without the wit and intelligence of the previous two films. Part of the problem is that the story with Artie (Justin Timberlake) never has the emotional impact it should, and the the chemistry between the characters isn't as strong as the first two films in the series. There are a few good laughs but it's a fairly mediocre film which is mostly redeemed by the feeling it leaves you with because of the final scene.
