To me it was a quite simple but very enjoyable and captivating story. Jodi Foster is an amazing actress. I love her characters, she can add so much realness to them. There were some plot twists - not mind blowing ones - but good enough to keep you interested. I gave an 8 out of 10 just because it is that kind of simple movie that is well made and works well. It will worth your popcorn.

Very thrilling, an original idea and with enough twists to hold your attention.

If nothing else this movie provides a tour/education around the internals of a modern plane.

One mothers insistence her child is alive against all evidence to persuade her otherwise. I believed her, then I doubted her. I love a bit of misdirection

It’s a good movie, but it’s almost ruined by Peter Sarsgaard’s annoying acting.

Good Decent Watch. It starts strong with Jodie Foster's powerful performance as a mom whose daughter vanishes mid-flight. Suspenseful setup, but far-fetched plot & resolution ultimately derail the experience.
Jodie Foster's intense portrayal anchors the movie. The initial mystery is genuinely gripping, creating great paranoia within the plane setting. Cinematography effectively enhances the claustrophobia. Music contributes to the suspense.
Flightplan nosedives with an increasingly implausible plot & a weak reveal. Writing becomes less convincing, and the direction can't save the strained logic in the latter half. A decent watch though, not Disappointing.
