It's a decent enough monster movie with some nice ideas. But I was waiting for Jamie Lee to have a "Get away from her you bitch!" moment where she fights back, and it never really happens. Dammit.

The actors carry this one, all the cast are great, the CGI is good considering its from the 90s. Still it lacks any kind of scares or a real feeling of impending danger and isolation that it seems they were going for. I kinda like the tech robots AI stuff though

Not a great movie qs the movie is slightly confused in terms of where the virus came from. Space? Alien? Human created? It is completely unknown what the monster is in the movie. It would be easier to say it was a cyber weapon getting out of hand

However it is only a monster movie and i like the cast, acting is pretty good. Most impressive is the use of models. It looks like robots were built to use in the movie rather than just CGI , this makes the movie ten times better than it would have been if it was cgi monsters.

It’s not a great movie in the slightest, but it is a fun movie. Sometimes that’s all that matters!

Virus is pretty bad...but not so bad I didn't enjoy parts of it.

When filmmakers try to combine several themes that have been successful on their own, it seldom works out. Virus is a prime example. A little bit of Alien...a dose of The Perfect Storm...and some Terminator splashed into the mix. Doesn't work all that well...that's for sure.

What works is the special effects. Done with minimal use of computers and CGI, they actually manage to seem quite "real". I wish more movies could utilize these kinds of techniques as they are far superior to CGI.

Skip this one if you have anything else to watch. Not really worth the time it takes to finish...
