I don't understand chinese because i'm american and dumb, so some of the translations were a little awkward and I'm sure i missed a lot of great wordplay. However, the slight language barrier didn't stop it from being a really impactful film, and I really liked it, even though it's very sad. Great movie about letting go and moving on, and growing as a person. Was honestly hoping for some cliché happy ending, but the ending it had, while sad, was very beautiful.

THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! but it was also sad just warning ⚠
it was all about a detective and had plot twists which were so exciting honestly i love derive stuff. and then a whole storyline with the gay ghosts and his life, it all tied together really well

Honestly, I appreaciate the performing of Austin Lin, which is surprising. Especially the scene where he
butst into tears when he found out his boyfriend doesn't feel the same way as he does. Also, Tsung-Hua Tou played the father really well. Whe he begged Aaron Yan for forgiveness really broke my heart.
Other than that, the stroyline is a cliche, the punch lines are awkward, and the characters don't feel like human due to lack of details in personalities.
By the way, the fact that
Aaron Yan played the gay ex-boyfriend
is halarious. I love that!
