I like to see each season of this show as having a focus. Season 1 focused on introducing us to the major players, especially the Starks, which will be the catalyst to the major conflict. Season 2 focused on the beginning of this war, moving through each of the major players as they fight for the throne. Season 3's focus is similar to Season 2, continuing this war, while also bringing in more fantastical elements. Season 3 had some great scenes, and is probably overall my favorite season so far, but it feels a bit too similar to Season 2 for me to really appreciate it as it's own thing. I'm noticing with how many plot lines there are, it can feel like things are moving a bit slowly due to having to move each story step by step. But even still, it is great, and I'm excited for Season 4. My hope is that Season 4 will put more of a focus on Daenerys and her dragons.

Pretty static until the last few episodes, with the ninth one acting as the climax again. I was just starting to feel like we have been running in circles with little risk on the main cast's shoulders, but luckily enough the tables got dramatically turned in the end. Enough to keep me interested for a few more episodes, but I hope the fourth season is going to be better paced.

And with what many people here called the "best episode in TV history" they annihilated what little bit of interest I still had with this show.

No characters left I care for - still don't care for the plot in general. Progresses way to slow, more sideways than forward. And hitting reset and start all over again and again. I will take some time to decide wether I continue watching
