I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too

So this is basically the epitome of what everyone hates about "trashy" 12/13 episode isekai/fantasy anime. The MC finds a way to go to another world, becomes insanely powered up, and faces little resistance in anything that he tries... and if that's all that you see when you watch stuff like this, then so be it. For me, these shows become less about, 'will he make it through the challenge?', and all about, 'how he makes it through the challenge'...

This particular MC had a bit more going on prior to changing worlds than is typical of this show type. I really do wish we would have seen a little more of his life beforehand, instead of just all the awful things that he experienced....I wish they showed us more things that demonstrated that he was a good person, and not focused so much on him being a victim. Another minor gripe was that he evolved into the 'giga-chad' way too rapidly, I feel like that would have been better served over the course of two or three episodes.

Minor gripes aside, it's easy to root for somebody when you see them being abused and then come into power and not turn into an asshole. The fact that he led the life that he did, and then didn't immediately become the antithesis of everything that he became, speaks volume to his character.

Sure things are a bit over the top with people damn near swooning in the streets when he walks past, but I kinda was happy for the MC. I also really enjoyed some of the characters....the sassy princess in particular. The pacing on this show was absolutely phenomenal as well, there are very few slow moments or things that had me uninterested.

I just read that this got renewed for another season, I wasn't expecting that, but I'm here for it..

This was an unexpected gem to come across I hadn't heard of it and at first I thought it wasn't going to be that good but as it unfolds the story and writing is actually pretty good the identity crisis the main character tends to experience alot based off his past life of being considered ugly, fat, unwanted, bullied and unloved. Is what really resonates especiallyouf you've ever been over weight and lost weight you see how people start treating you completely different even though you feel like the same person all of a sudden more people want to be your friend, more women like you etc and this show is using that along with comedy and isekai it has everything and I'm a fan of when they can cross back and fourth like inyuyasha and digimon you get to see how this normal person goes to a different World levels up and in his World he's pretty much a god now. I hope we get a season 2. 13 episodes wasn't enough

mc's too perfect, there's barely any character arc. I hope season 2's better but so far the story is mid. Everything is repetitive -- he saves somebody from a monster, or a disaster, or whatever, that's it.

I don't think this anime is horrible but come on... even if you are Henry Cavil people won't look at you drooling on the streets. I don't know what kind of fantasy this is but the exaggeration and funny pauses make this show a joke sometimes. I don't think I would recommend this one.

The episode is every Monday, not every Thursday.
