I love this show. It has me crying almost every episode. I love that no matter what their drama is, no matter how chaotic life is, no matter how mad they may be with each other that they always come together in the end for their family.
watched this in 2019, back to back from the start. I'm going to miss watching it.. every episode is great, all the relationships are good. The finale was good too... nicely wrapped up the whole show... 10/10!
I love this show, so emotional and beautiful!
Needless to say i cried a few times through it.
I would recommend it!
Enjoyed both times I watched. Might rewatch again sometime.

Adam was right not to fire Rachel because it wouldn’t have been fair to her, but he made things worse by lying to Kristina.
Everything she said was completely justified—she’s always been very supportive of him, and even though he didn’t do anything, lying to her about firing Rachel was wrong.
Amber is struggling, but I hope she turns things around—I really like her character.
Crosby realizing that cheating on Jasmine also meant betraying Jabbar in a way was such a wake-up call.
I LOVE JASMINE AND CROSBY—GET BACK TOGETHER SOON!
While watching, I thought Troy was amazing, but he turned out to be a complete jerk.
This show was remarkable. I didn't know what to expect going into this show upon a friendly recommendation, and I got more than I expected. It is magnificently paced and level in terms of quality throughout the entirety of the six seasons. I feel like it touches on MOST real life issues, without forcing anything, and handles things in a very family appropriate method. I think most people will connect somewhere and has a decent chance of loving this show. No it's not perfect, but life isn't perfect and I think this show captures that essence as good as possible!
Average Season Review: 8.5/10
Recommendation: Must See (For Realistic Drama Fans)
Great show! Sorry Sarah Braverman, only you without happy ending but you deserved.
As I watch season 2, I’m increasingly realizing that the values this show promotes are actually quite dangerous. I really like Adam and Kristina’s family—they’re the ones who work the hardest at maintaining their marriage and raising their children. But the stories the writers have created for the other characters basically send this message: as long as you’re unhappy or going through a tough time in life, it’s acceptable to do drugs or cheat, without ever having to take real responsibility.
Crosby and Jasmine are both selfish people—neither of them is willing to truly commit or sacrifice in the relationship. They had a child out of wedlock and now expect the child to respond positively to their decision to get married? Can’t they see how their own sin has impacted him?
I also don’t understand on what grounds Jasmine is taking them to see a pastor for premarital counseling. What foundation is she even standing on?
The characters in this show can be aimless and do nothing, yet still expect to land jobs, own homes, and get into good schools just because of their connections. It really reflects a very typical middle-class mindset.
