This show is a heart break to talk about, ended WAY too soon. It had so much potential and was absolutely amazing while it was on (especially the first season). I've read the books but it would have been the best to actually see it end rather then read.

Planning on doing a re-watch of this with my wife who's a first time viewer. Really enjoyed watching the pilot again. Some of the political messages are striking today. In the pilot the CEO that raises drug prices to sell on the black market in Canada - today in the real world that happens but the product is sold legally and there has been no pulse like event. Amazing.

The pilot laid out just how cerebral Max was too, not just a physical super soldier but a master tactician.

3rd time re-watch now, one of my favourite shows of all time.

Deserving of more seasons than it got.

When the series was released it was my favorite and it still has a special place in my heart today.

It was refreshing, modern and cool. I think it has aged well visually and content that was provocative back then is normal today.

One of the few series in which LGBTQ was normal and relevant in terms of content but without forcing the viewer to have an opinion or going off on a tangent.

Big praise for the portrayal of the trans woman who realizes that she is a lesbian. And of course the original Cindy.

Some characters seem exaggerated today and you can see the weaknesses of the actors, who were still inexperienced at the time.

But overall, with the humor, a series emerges that takes up topics that are ahead of their time, embodying a generation that is now in the middle of its life.

The dystopian, dysfunctional and politically unstable portrayal of the USA unfortunately feels more than realistic today - but unfortunately on a global level.

My super all time fave show! Watched entirely back in 2003, I think this was the first show I got really hooked on.

One of those shows that ended too early, left with so many answers. I just wished they put at least one extra season to it.
