I don't think it's right to dismiss Territory as a mix of Succession and Yellowstone. This show has its own specific characterization in the beautiful Australian landscapes, the annihilation of the Aboriginal culture by the Western one, the complex management of large farms. Not to mention the great performances of Anna Torv and Michael Dorman, and the depth of the characters, none of whom can be considered blameless.
While definitely inspired by Yellowstone, it's also very Australian. Robert Tylor returns home from Longmire along with Anna Torv from Fringe. Both talented Australian actors. I also like the Susie Lawson character portrayed by Philippa Northeast. Can this beat Taylor Sheridan's writing and story telling style? I would like to hang around to find out.
It was alright. But much better than majority of the carp put out by Netflix. Don’t expect it to be Yellowstone level but entertaining enough for a binge. And it’s only 6 episode so give it a try. Just don’t walk in with super high expectation and you’ll be entertained.
I didn't like yellowstone, but I liked the prequel, wasn't sure what to expect here, but it was different enough (or I didn't watch enough yellowstone) that I finished season 1.
The show is good, the acting is good, but I think 1 season was enough for me; that said, it was a solid show, interesting dynamics between the characters.
An Australian cheap knock off version of Yellowstone. Really should have given it a 5 out of 10. But, I upped to 6 out of 10 because I loved Anna Torv in Fringe and Robert Taylor in Longmire. So I was generous. 😉
Ok mate, this was bad. pure SOAP. Just terrible...... and I love Anna Torv. Think I have to rewatch Fringe now.
luv Anna Torv but even she couldn't save this show. Just another show about greedy ranchers.
Mix of _Yellowstone_ and _Succession_.
