The recruits are trained on the various basic cooking techniques including: baking, knife skills, temperature, seasoning and preparation. I super want to love this, but its super edited and auditioned. You can totally tell that Anne Burrell is super to the script and Alex Guarnashelli just wants a good chef. Anne is lovey dovey (boring, bye) and Alex is hardline (shes an iron chef, what do you expect, oh perfection? Thats right.) Its super edited, and hammed up. Obv the blue team got the better chef.
