Love the non-sensical conspiracy theories. Started watching because of memes. Can't believe History Channel can produce such a show..😃

I like this series. Not from the standpoint that I believe aliens did all that in the past but to see archaeological mysteries around the world. I even believe in UFO's, and probably some people in the past saw some and wondered. I just don't believe that built all those structures which is told in the series.

They obviously don't believe what the Bible says, unless they can pull it out of context and use it to their advantage.
Also a lot of speculation and fantasy run wild. Yes, it would be very cool if it were true, I love syfy, but a lot of the speculations they make have very simple answers. But you can't use your brain unless you're touched by an alien, right? lol

There is a huge problem with the way Trakt has this series' episodes listed. I have the actual physical DVDs (S1-S6), and following along in Trakt they have me into S9!

Something is FUBAR.

I like it, but each episode is just too long. 1hr 30mins just puts me to sleep late at night.

Some subjects are repeated so many times on the episodes just to fill them, and many of the subjects are easily debunked , most of the people commenting on the subjects are just book writers of the same topic or very similar , most of the times is just to sell the books. The positive thing I found about this show is that is very good to make me fall asleep, the narrator and most episodes are so boring that they become so good before sleeping.

So for those people wondering what is up with episode numbering in season 5 - 10, know that the info comes from tvdb. There the principle is that numbering is based on original numbering - but as far as I understand History channel decided to renumber episodes from s5-s8 and spread them out so they became s5-s10. And then the started making episodes named from s11. So according to original numbering there is no s9 and s10, but after the renumbering there are.

Go to thetvdb and you will see that s9+s10 is not there. It seems that s9+s10 was imported into trakt.tv anyhow so that means that s9+s10 now duplicates episodes from the previous seasons. Update Aug2020: trakt.tv now correctly removed season 9 and 10. Update Mar2021: And now they are back again. ;)

I gave this a 4/10 review, why?: I think some episodes are ok, but there is much recycled content across the series it just seems very lazy. So much repetition. And then I really do like that none of the episodes go in depth with their so-called evidence. Show us the texts! And explain the science in greater detail! Show us the full original reports instead of superficial second hand stories by untrustworthy pseudo historians. This could have been so much better.

Just watch "Ancient Aliens Debunked" on YouTube and you'll realize that your subconscious has been right all along: the guy's hair is ridiculous and these "experts" are a bunch of liars.
