Wolf's Rain

Paradise—a legend, a myth, and a hopeless dream in a world that has become a wasteland. It is not meant for everyone, only the wolves thought to be extinct yet still roam the lands. When the Flower Maiden awakens, the path to the end will open. Kiba, a lone white wolf, wanders into a poverty stricken city on a quest. The scent of Lunar Flowers and the will to find Paradise is all he has. Along the way, he runs into other outcast wolves—Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, each with their own story and troubles. Fate bringing them together, they seek out the Flower Maiden, Cheza, and their way to Paradise. But, doing so is no simple matter. Up against a world that fears them and a man with mysterious abilities, their journey is overrun with challenges and worse—sacrifices. With limited time, they must fight to protect Cheza against everyone who seeks her and discover the hidden path to their destiny.

I watched most of this series _so_ long ago that I wasn't rating episodes at the time. I wasn't even adding anime to Trakt then. Actually, I started _Wolf's Rain_ before I even **joined** (or heard of) Trakt.

All that is to say, I pretty much had to throw a dart, roll a die, whatever, and just stick a rating on this based on the last five episodes. Before today (technically yesterday, in my current timezone), I last watched an episode of _Wolf's Rain_ four and a half years ago.

There's no particular reason it took me 2,094 days to finish the series. Or, if there was, I've long forgotten it. In the present day, it became another entry that had lingered too long on my "Currently Watching" list, so I decided it was time to watch the last few episodes.

If I want to write a proper review, I'll have to watch the whole thing again, 'cause I don't remember much of anything. In the future, I'll try never to let a completed anime linger on my "Currently Watching" list for longer than its original broadcast run. Trying to review series that I started **literal years** ago is impossible.
