Finally, an animated cartoon series for adults that for once is not coming out of Japan. And its computer animated on top of that!

The reboot of the tv show can without a doubt be called successful. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is filled with action, comedy and to some extend drama. A lot of planets and species from the movies, comics and books are in this tv show. The story takes place between episode II and episode III of the movies, right when the war between the Separatist Alliance and the Galactic Republic is at his peak.

The computer animation is very nicely done. Its a unique melding of both CGI techniques and Japanese anime. The characters look kinda cartoonish in a way. Its very colourful and creative. I like it very much.

Even if you are not a Star Wars fan you should see this animated tv show. The action is very good and the storylines are very enjoyable. I highly recommend this animated tv show to anyone who is interested in some good action and battles in space.

For years, I thought The Clone Wars was just a kids’ show. Bright colors, odd animation, cartoonish characters… It didn’t help that it aired on youth networks and that many long-time fans simply ignored it. But what a mistake that was. Beneath that first, childish impression lies one of the most complex, mature, and emotionally powerful works in the entire Star Wars universe.

Yes, the first two seasons can be confusing. The chronological order jumps around, there’s filler, and not everything seems to matter. But from season three — and especially season four — the show takes a sharp turn. It gets darker, denser, more adult. Plotlines begin to tie directly into future events, and the characters grow with a depth we never saw in the films.

Obi-Wan’s arc on Mandalore is tragic and beautiful. Ahsoka’s story is simply unforgettable. Anakin’s evolution — without exaggeration or excuses — is believable and painful. And finally, the clones are treated as what they are: people. Each with a name, a personality, and fears. Then there’s Maul. If you thought he was just a throwaway villain from The Phantom Menace, think again — his arc here is a masterclass in redemption.

The final episodes are pure cinema. The Siege of Mandalore is a visual and emotional spectacle that rivals any film. The animation reaches stunning levels, Kevin Kiner’s music cuts deep, and the script acts as a perfect bridge into Revenge of the Sith. Watching it knowing what’s coming doesn’t dull the impact — it heightens it.

I finished the series in tears. No exaggeration. Because it made me reconnect with parts of the saga I once dismissed. Because it shows what it really means to be a Jedi, what war really costs, and how betrayal truly hurts. And because it reminded me, once again, not to judge a story by its format, but by its heart.

If you’re a Star Wars fan and haven’t seen The Clone Wars yet, you’re missing one of the greatest experiences this galaxy far, far away has ever given us.

Yeah it's a kids show, but that doesn't mean it can't be great and have a lot of depth
These characters really make me love the prequels

Clone Wars is the best SW related media out there next to the original trilogy (and some books). Some arcs and especially the last one in S7 are up there as the most amazing stories from this universe ever to be put on screen.

Very entertaining, I enjoyed this very much. Took me about 10 days for the whole show.

Lots of action, space battles, ground battles, Lightsabre fights. But what really makes it worth watching is the writing, some really good story arcs that complement the whole saga.

I would recommend this wether you're a Star Wars fan or not.

Easily the best Star Wars content since the original trilogy. Sorry, Mandalorian.

Expands the universe not only with the old characters but a large selection of new ones that have unique personalities, circumstances, and stories. Sadly this is something Disney has been drawing away from with their newer shows.

Perhaps the best entry in the Star Wars franchise after the Original Trilogy which provided a lot of backstory about Clone Troopers, Ashoka Tano (who should have been included in the movies), Count Dooku and how
Darth Sidious A.K.A Chancellor Palpatine actually controller both sides and almost wiped out the Jedi Order
.

The show gets a lot better in the later seasons. There are some episodes that are not necessary to the main story but they give us the time and moment to get attached with characters and some notable clone troopers like Commander Rex, Echo, Fives, Tup. The show fulfils its purpose to depict what happened between Episode II and Episode III and the final season couldn't be better.

Being an animated series it never shies off when coming to the darker elements of the Star Wars universe. With its beautiful graphics, intense action sequences and some high moments, this lived up to its expectations. The good thing that happened in The Clone Wars is this didn't dwell on something that is already shown in the prequel trilogy and it is not centred around a few characters which introduced us to a larger universe. **This is a must-watch for every star wars fan and if you are new to the universe at least watch the prequel trilogy.**

The Clone Wars is a thrilling collection of war stories. The Clone Wars is more concerned with the people who live among the stars than any other entry in the franchise. But more than anything else, The Clone Wars is a tragedy. And as someone who's always found the tragedy in Star Wars to be the most compelling element, that's perfect for me.
