Great show. Didn't enjoy it as much as TAS or even The New Batman Adventures. It's great to watch but as a few episodes per viewing. At least in my case. I think it has to do with being familiar with the format and therefore watching shows like this on autopilot. Still a solid 7 both quality wise and fun wise.

I loved this show as a kid and now that I'm watching again as an adult it holds up pretty well but you can see it's made for teenagers. I wish someone made an updated version of this for adults. Kinda like Harley Quinn but without the jokes. And without things like landline phones and shopping malls and CD's (because by now we know none of those things will likely exist in the future).

Batman is my favorite superhero and science fiction my favorite genre. If you put them together, it doesn't make either any better.
Apart from the occasional and expected silly parts, writing is actually really good most of the time. But a pseudo Iron Man type Batman is not my thing.

This is one of those shows, where you aren't sure if it's going to stand-up as you get older. It does. While there are definitely some teenage elements to the show, it's jam packed with action, really creative concepts, and call-back references to comic book Batman characters and the original 90's Batman cartoon. It has just the right amount of darkness to still bring that Batman feel. The show takes in a futuristic Gotham, where the world has really advanced technologically. Bruce Wayne has hung up his hat as Batman due to his age and personal reasons. He quickly dons Terry McGinnis as the new Batman after the murder of his father (this all takes place in the two-part first episode). It's a coming of age story where Terry tries to cope with the dichotomy of being a regular high-school student and Batman. Getting to see Bruce Wayne take over the "Alfred" role is a clever and unique take on the Batman franchise. Old Bruce Wayne is pretty epic. This is supposed to be one of the last story-arc's for Bruce Wayne. While I haven't had a chance to check it out myself, supposedly episode 13 (i.e., "Epilogue") of Justice League Season 4 is the unofficial closure episode of this show. Really enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in Batman, and who can deal with a bit of childishness. It's worth it.
