Absolutely great, it starts slow and quickly becomes a fun comedy that always produces a laugh in original ways, while the more serious arcs make the show a intense drama filled with action, and the show is capable of being everything in between

I re re-watched this anime so many times and it keeps getting better ( Only thing I regret is me not being Japanese, cause I can't get the Japanese cultural references)

So funny and entertaining. One of the best anime I've seen. Total 10/10, plus Gintoki is my spirit animal lol

So the episodes have ended here, I watched 2 semi final episodes and Now only the finale movie is left,
AND THE WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT 2ND HALF OF THAT LAST EPISODE bruhhh, They ended the last episode the gintama way, just abruptly stopping in between, and having a fucking Gintama Ending Scam court trial, these guys are so unserious man, I love it. Fucking blaming it on gorilla and the producers just saying what they wanna say, and admitting they did it for money was so fucking in line what this anime was about.

The Silver soul arc was heavy man, More the story unfolded, greater the goosebumps, more teary my eyes were. I just fucking love how Gorilla is sewing everything back into each other as the story is coming to an end, masterpiece of a writing as always by him. Each and every small character that was once part of a completely unserious plot, having parts during the arc was amazing, the animation was good. The action in this one was brilliant, the Utsuro fight with basically everyfucking one was crazy, The Voice actors did a good job.

I'll be closing my thoughts about this anime as a whole after I see the movie

Gintama is getting a new anime series premiering in April 2015. Based Santa-san has delivered once again and in thrilling fashion nonetheless. My body is beyond ready for more of my bro Gintoki's legendary antics.

If you like random sh*t, you'll love this anime. Honestly, it's not for me.

Well, I’ve been watching for the last few weeks, I’m at episode 72 right now (skipped 4 for the 1st movie). So far it’s a solid 5/10 rating from me.. Why? Simply because it’s full of fillers, I would like it if all episodes had some sort of character development. The comedy is very weak for me. Very few episodes made me laugh, the rest are entertaining at best, but that’s not good enough. I wish there was a list that has episodes that actually advance the story and those that are just there to make you laugh (I want to skip these), my formula for such animes is Comedy*Story=Enjoyment.. Since the comedy is weak, I’d only watch it for the story, but since most episodes are just fillers that don’t really advance the story, I think Imma drop it. I think it’s highly overrated show.

Gonna start watching this anime, because my friends won't stop telling me how great it is.
