I don't understand the reviews comparing this to TWD. They are different styles. I enjoy both but to be honest this show is just so much fun I prefer it. The amazing over the top kills, and wild situations keep it fun. Where else can you see a pack of zombies taken out by a rolling cheese wheel? Fancy some zombie strippers? Zombie weed? Look no further!

I'm so glad this show exists! Seems a lot of people expect it to be yet another TWD spin-off, but it is definitely not. Where TWD/FTWD is taking the whole zombie thing super-seriously, ZN presents a more lighthearted view of the apocalypse packed with black humor and some of the most awesome zombie-kills to ever hit the screen! Comparing the two is like comparing apples and pears, and the acting and vfx/cgi is great compared to a lot of the other shows that are on the air right now.

What sets Z Nation apart, and in my opinion makes it better than any other zombie show out there, is not it's comedy, it's that it has an objective and is going somewhere. In every other series I've seen, TWD being one of the worst offenders, there is no hope for a future for humanity. It's just buying time while each character is slowly picked off. Z Nation has an objective every season that revolves in some way around curing the Zombie virus and ultimately saving humanity. Meaning there's hope for this series to end in a satisfying way, not just killing everyone off.

If you're a fan of Asylum though you'll also enjoy little cameos and references to their other works that bring a nice chuckle on top of the already rich good humor the show brings.

Just finished watching Z Nation on Netflix, what an amazing series! ‍♂💔 The thrilling zombie apocalypse journey filled with action, humor, and heartwarming moments has left a lasting impact. It's a show that will forever hold a special place in my heart! 📺❤

Entertainment. It's there. You won't be thrown out of it.
