It’s one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Started slow, but the 4th and 5th season really made me feel excited and were really catching.

This kinda weirdly reminds me of the japanese robot cartoons I used to watch as a kid. It's fun.

I think Miraculous Ladybug is the first cartoon that if written by chatgpt would improve infinitely.
and I've already tested this, and it was better than what Thomas Astrac writes

haha I've had this on my watchlist for a while; it's so Sailor Moon! set in France; so _bubbly_ for your Saturday morning.
It's also from Toei Animation so that explains it.

There's a lot that goes on in the show the more you watch it. It can get very chaotic at times, but I think there are a lot of interesting themes and tropes they touch on that it keeps the show interesting. The biggest pain point has been since how since the release of season 1, the episode order has never been very chronological. For some reason, even the episodes on Netflix are out of order so it takes a while to put together the main plot. Some cheesy moments, but there's a lot of wholesome intention in the show with regards to themes of trust, friendship, insecurity (and being able to accept the flaws in yourself and others), making mistakes but recovering from them, comforting your friends when they're down, supporting them through tough times, speaking your thoughts (communication), alter egos, and doing good in the magical girl sense. The 3D animation is cool in some regards, but sometimes it's also a little freaky looking at their eyes. There's a lot of shounen anime today that have started bleeding into shoujo themes and I think this is an interesting twist where you have a mainly shoujo-esque show that blends minor shounen elements.

My favorite episode is Oblivio. It works great as a standalone episode and is a fun amnesia troped twist.

Will add more interesting discussions if I find because I'm lazy to write my own thoughts:
