Overall is decent but they don't do great with adaptation of the manga and light novels. Adding characters not included in some scenes, changing scenes, and even not including some impactful scenes in the manga that show good characterization.
They completely ruined Kunikida's character making him poorly written compared to the books. Some light novels have so much content but they only cover one episode of it glossing over everything else.
Overall if you want to see if the story has potential read the manga and light novels. It is still genuinely enjoyable but don't expect the full intended story from the anime.
