I’ve said it’s many times but this was the platonic ideal of cartoons. The heightened slice of life meets absurdity of childhood imagination like Ed Edd n Eddy and KND, the earnest heart, arcs, and developed characters of Adventure Time and SU and their ilk. Wildly hilarious, extremely touching, and brimming with love for the art form of cartoons and for the passionate hearts of children. I know that despite the state of the current industry and the world at large, this show will inspire so many creatives- animators and more- to create their own passion projects like the crew of this show were inspired by the animation they loved. And in that way, we’ll see Craig of the Creek tomorrow.
Cannot believe how creative were creators of this show. It has so many awesome ideas that I would like to go back to times when I was a kid. Reminds me my childhood when we were just playing and pretending. We had superpowers, we had our secret bases... and probably that is the reason why this show has special place in my heart.
This show is really great! Loved the first two episodes and it hits really hard on my childhood. Celebrating the absurdity but creativity of those years. A bright future on CN for this show hopefully.
