The School Nurse Files

Wielding a light-up sword through the dark corners of a high school, a nurse with an unusual gift protects students from monsters only she can see.

I liked it for it's originality. I'm glad I watched it.
Nam Joo Hyuk as Hong In Pyo is exactly how I pictured that character after reading the novel, I even get goosebumps!
Now, if you expect a soap opera then you are very far, this isn't like any other drama, this is far beyond, is weird but the kind of weirdness that can grow on you if you give it an opportunity, acting was on point and the CGI is good as well as the OST!
Waiting for a second season so badly!
What a refreshing change of pace! Probably worth checking out if, like me, you found 90% of 2020 kdramas (Jan-Sept) ridiculously disappointing. Would recommend watching the teaser first to see if you could be into the genre.
Also, I forgot how brilliant of an actor Nam Joo-hyuk is. :raised_hands_tone4:
This was fun and weird, crazy and fun, quirky and sweet, and have I mentioned fun?
Yu-mi seems to embrace the quirky, weirdness of her character whole-heartedly and is a lot of fun to watch. The season wraps up fairly nicely but leaves it open for another season. I do hope a second season becomes available.
How I rate:
1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too
9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
I like its quirkiness and interesting plot, but the story was too fast paced, many things left unanswered and so many subplots have poor development.
I liked it for it's originality. I'm glad I watched it.
