I absolutely love this show. The chemistry between all of the actors (which includes Rex) is GREAT.
Cheers to a family friendly, yet adult friendly show.. Let's keep this one running for many more seasons.

Yes, it's a knock-off, but generally a fun waste of time if you don't mind plot-holes and more technical mistakes than any other modern detective show I can think of.... actually there was that one a few years ago that I seemed to have blocked from my memory was too bad to watch with my nephews - ah Scorpion. Their mistakes were more techie, these are just poor script-writing.

Despite this, this is more watchable somehow...

I just read the description and I already KNOW it's gonna be a knock-off, Walmart version of Kommissar Rex, the original Austrian show this show is basically recreating.

An egregious waste of K9 talent.
As a GSD owner, I'm already a shoe-in audience. Even so, this is a challenging watch at times.

It's amazing just how many ways they can think of to have Charlie relinquish his gun, or the sheer amount of of hostage taking that goes on in this show. I was never expecting The Wire, but scripts that were written above a sixth grade level shouldn't be out of the question.

Any other show would garner five stars or would have been dropped already, but what can I say? Rex is still up to the task even if the showrunners aren't. This could have been so much more, but the fact that it's on season 7 just shows what people are willing to endure to watch Rex overachieve in his role.

Popcorn on, Brain off.

This show needs more Rex and a lot less Hudson.

There are many ways to progress a plot and the writers here chose the laziest way possible. The dialogue explains every action to the viewer as if they were blind and listening to a descriptive audio track. Stale lines delivered back and forth with the exact words to progress the plot.

Do you really need to explain to the viewer that the Police have a facial recognition program? The Police use Stingray's and microwave (not the appliance) to surveil people. I HOPE they have some kind of database of faces.

Having grown up on Canadian TV I am used to this from CTV, Moses would never release a show this bad.
