This movie was unexpectedly brilliant. Emotionally I even want to give it 9.5/10 while 8.5/10 might be more appropriate so let's go with a solid 9 :)

I had low expectations due to the low IMDb rating of 6.1 (the 69% here seem more appropriate) but I really love it when I expect "nothing" and end up being blown away! :) I only watched this because Ben Collins mentioned it as he was a stunt driver for some of the car scenes. I hoped for some nice car scenes and I got much more than expected :) I really liked the movie "Lady Driver" and Noah was even more savage which I probably do enjoy more then I should.

The main downside is that the OV isn't in English so I watched the dubbed version but that's fair and it was fine :) (just a bit weird at first)

And as a current MINI driver I was also happy to see the rallye MINI that Noah drove with her dad :D

Noah is a nice mix of skilled, badass, hot, and savage - it'd probably be nice to be her :D
She slaps people (or rather Nick) a lot though for someone who hates violence... :o

Mario is a nice guy and I'm glad that Noah probably wants him around as a friend.

Nick seemed such a jerk at first but it was really interesting to see that there's much more to him. He's quite cool but I'm not sure if I like him - I certainly can if he quits cage fighting, smoking, and probably some more bad habits/things.
It was quite nice when he "saved" drugged Noah (which was acting quite funny xD).

Noah's dad is so despicable... :o I'm glad that her mother found a much better new partner (I was a bit sceptical at first but he seems genuinely good - at least to them).
I also catched the "twist" with the letters very late btw - I always thought they're from Ronnie. Noah really shouldn't have kept them to herself though...

"Please can we come to the race tonight?"
That's when things really became interesting :D
And Rafaela trying to distract with "today is beautiful, don't you think?" (or something like that)

Nick offering to take that photo with Noah was dumb from the beginning... :D
"Wait here" - I'd struggle too waiting in a Porsche without switching to the drivers seat! :D

Nick's jealous girlfriend also had some nice moments ("if only I met you sooner dear" xD).

"I taught her [Noah] all the basics" and then she proceeds to drive around the fountain with squealing tires :D

In the scene where Noah's dad got shot I expected to see the "handbrake, 20°, 60°" move that Noah mentioned but I didn't see that 20° right and 60° left flick (or left -> right for the other direction) - I guess it was intended to showcase it though?

"Because now we've just begun our story."

Fuck it i kinda loved this actually. The actings good, the story was interesting enough, and the action kinda went hard. The car scene at the end was kinda insane i loved it.

Culpa Mía is a passionate and tension-filled story that mixes family drama with forbidden romance. Nicole Wallace shines as Noah, a young woman who is forced to adapt to a new life in the mansion of her stepfather, William Leister, played by Iván Sánchez. There she meets her stepbrother Nick (Gabriel Guevara), with whom she maintains an intense and emotionally charged relationship, in which their rebellious and tormented personalities lead them to explore a connection that breaks family and social rules.

The film combines moments of romance with adrenaline, highlighting the world of illegal racing, an element that intensifies the plot by adding constant danger for Noah and Nick. The cast in general does a remarkable job, especially in capturing the explosive chemistry between the protagonists. Although the script sometimes falls into clichés typical of the genre, it manages to maintain interest thanks to its emotional twists and tension-filled scenes.

Culpa Mía is an emotional rollercoaster that explores desire, danger, and complicated family ties, making it ideal for fans of intense romances and teen drama.

It's not that bad. Just the car scene ( when her father was shot) was kinda weird? Idk if that's the right word for that scene. I mean how did the guy know what to do just by looking at her face like c'mon bro u ain't a face reader.

A Decent Rom-Com with Over-the-Top Action. While the movie falls victim to a slow pace it still manages to provide decent entertainment .

Another romantic drama that follow the same old pattern, although it's not boring but nothing new. It keeps you engaged and also have some interesting turns but you'll feel you've seen them somewhere before.

Feels like a film that crossed the ocean and lost it's cultural identity. As an American, this film is very strange. We get a step-sibling love story that ends in the cops killing the girl's father. Very weird. The strangest part is that the movie doesn't make it that big of a deal, like any part of it. Obviously people are drawn to the intimate scenes and actors however it's hard to become emersed when that's the plot. I did enjoy the final e-brake drift scene. Overall wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone 3/10
