When I first saw the cel-shaded CGI, I was expecting to be disappointed, but it was pretty well-done.

The fight scenes were fun, and the entire movie had great nostalgia factor. Other reviewers voiced their legitimate complaints, but as a long-time Dragon Ball fan, I just sat down and watched it with a smile on my face from start to finish.

Well, that was satisfying.

Goku and Vegeta are only supporting character's in the film, which is honestly a nice change, gives some sidelined characters a chance to shine again.

Gohan's always been my favourite character in the franchise, they knew how much his character's been ridiculed over the recent years, and now they show us again how awesome Gohan truly is, and it's canon. That new transformation was insane, and I'm here for it...
On top of that, Gohan ending the fight with Piccolo's signature move... Bravo!

Speaking of Piccolo, he finally got the attention he deserved, along with a badass power up.
Piccolo wasn't just a main character... He was the main character.

Being a Dragonball fan majority of my life allowed me to really enjoy the little things...
The Pan/Piccolo relationship, Piccolo's even on a first name basis with Pan's teacher.
Seeing an older Goten, Trunks, and even Gotenks.
Also, Broly was just chilling with Goku and Vegeta, wasnt expecting that and it made me so happy.

I had no issue at all with the animation, the film looked great, and there were so many beautiful shots.

...One last thing, they knew what they were doing with THAT Bulma shot. Well played. 👏

You did it. You finally made another good Dragon Ball movie and you did it without Goku pulling something out of his butt. Bravo.Piccolo and Gohan get their much deserved time back in the spotlight and the movie genuinely provided a number of solid self-aware humor and laughs. I would have preferred to have a bit more tension, but this was fun through and through.

I wish Dragon Ball had spin-off series showing Earth / Universe / Multiverse in separated plots. Damn, even something about Future Trunks timeline would be great, and this movie shows it well. Ganma 1 & 2 are just awesome ideas. I was super surprised of how fun this movie was and how "on-point" the comedy scenes are. It was genuinely fun, loved it and laughed more than I thought I would. CGI was a bit awkward for me in some scenes - felt like a videogame cutscene - but the last battle was great.

"Piccolo, you suck at driving."

He did it! Vegeta finally won! Great way to end this fun Dragon Ball movie!

I know Goku is the star of the franchise alongside Vegeta but it was fun seeing Piccolo take the lead. Him teaching Pan was great, Gohan using Makankōsappō was a sight to behold, I enjoyed the Gamma design! Fat Gotenks! Police officer Krillin! Bulma using Shenron to stay young! I even enjoyed the rather unique animation style and having a Red Ribbon bad guy is always fun. And how about a Kaiju battle between Cell Max and Picollo was a sight to behold!

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero has me ready for the return of the anime which will hopefully happen in 2023! I know it's part nostalgia because Dragon Ball was the first anime I ever saw and I grew up alongside Piccolo and the gang and Gohan was always my favorite and seeing him fight again like this was a dream come true! But I never get old of the characters living in the Dragon Ball universes.

GIVE ME MORE!

This movie was among the better ones in the Dragon Ball franchise. Although the plot was kept alive on the nostalgia and parody like comedy, it wasn't boring in the least. I hope they consider this as canon for future content.

Nothing unique except the animation. The animation is great. I only recommend to the fans. It's enjoyable.

Beginning is a total slog. Hated it. Then around the middle it started to get good. Beginning intro has traditional animated scenes then they shift over to the ugly CG animation. Wish it was all traditional. They need to give up on trying to make CG anime. Never looks right. The two new Androids were pretty cool. I enjoyed them.

Saw this in theaters, the story was pretty dumb but the animation was overall really good. Makes me look forward to future installments.
