One of the best movies I've ever watched in my life. The twist at the end is mind blowing.
i think the opening scene was a bit insensitive and unnecessary in making violent mentally unwell person something not so out of the ordinary
though once you get past that both the script and cinematography is stunning. stellar movie if you ask me. first movie to ever make me cry
Great film. I recall being blown away by this back in the day and although that first time innocent watch is no longer there it's still a brilliant film...just a little different as you notice the clues, hints and meanings. Love it.
I don't know how many times I've watched The Sixth Sense and I love it even more every time I do it.
M. Night Shyamalan did an amazing job writing and directing one of the greatest and powerful psychological thrillers with one of the best end twists of all time. It's fantastic how we don't suspect about anything the whole time at first viewing and it's such a shock when the truth is presented to you!
The acting is amazing from all of the actors but it's obviously Haley Joel Osment that steals the show.
Theres one particular scene, very touching, that even after all of the views still brings tears to my eyes, the scene in the car when Lynn finally recognizes the gift of her son.
It's brilliant!
Re watching this film made me weep like a child. I don't know why. Maybe because of the nostalgic value and how my life used to be back then with my friends and brothers and now most of the them are dead and I don't even see them anymore.
I guess I lost the ability to see dead people.
It's more than that. The film is a masterpiece and it doesn't matter someone spoiled it for you or not. It still is a great psychological horror film. The diabolical conflict between the therapist and the child and path of accepting the truth of your reality and discovering yourself. It doesn't matter how far you go to help someone but sometimes helping someone can result into helping yourself. All you need is that one kind of validation from a person that you can be saved and an assurance from another that i believe in your secret. Masterpiece.
That car scene between cole and his mother about his grandmother is everything I live for. Acceptance, finding out the truth and realisation about how proud someone always felt about you. I weep everytime i see that.
"I guess it's time for me to go" is the most beautiful self accepting line i have ever heard. It doesn't matter how many times you watch this film, it will hit you the same every single time. Like always and everytime.
when the play ends, I understood that he was dead, then I remembered how he arrives at the restaurant and they don't talk....
pff...
I think I just watched one of my favorite movies of all time. Even though I knew the final, the movie were excellent and very well written the whole time. What A great story.
With its heavy atmosphere, the movie captivates from the very first minutes. It offers much more than mere suspense: it invites reflection on profound themes of loss, grief and redemption.
The performances of Bruce Willis and young Haley Joel Osment are masterful, bringing raw emotion to every scene. And of course, the final twist, which has become legendary, transforms the whole experience and compels us to revisit the film with fresh eyes.
For fans of mystery, introspection and strong emotions, Sixth Sense is a must-see.
Such a beautiful horror movie, made me cry too many times.
I didn't see the twist incoming but god it all made more sense and it slid in like a glove at the end. Haley is an impeccable actor with incredible talent. My favorite parts were definitely how hauntingly wholesome it all became in the end especially with the subtle reveal as to why Anna's lover stormed out like that, or how vulnerable Cole's mom Lynn came out to be in the end in the traffic jam. You just get so attached to Cole that it is hard to not feel incredible pride in the good work he's done and destined to do for those who cannot find peace beyond life. I just wish we got to see some resolution for Vincent Grey. Bruce getting shot in the beginning didn't hit a cord with me at first but realizing what that night meant at the end was such brilliant writing. I love this movie a lot, I was really worried halfway that there would be no happy ending but it felt like a big weight off of my shoulders.
This is an amazing piece of art . Night pulled off a psychological sortta thriller with a huge twist very well. Climax, acting everything top notch. And the background score was icing on cake .
One of the best movies I've ever watched in my life. The twist at the end is mind blowing.
