Great movie! My only complaint is the 2hrs 12mins long. This movie dragged on. Ben and Jon are just amazing. Yes, besides the 2hrs 12 mins, it is a MUST WATCH.

It’s not as good as the first one and it’s a bit of a popcorn flick. The brotherhood delivers and most of the action is believable. If they made a third one I am still in.

It gives us great action, good humour, dynamic screen chemistry between Ben and Jon who were splendid.Worth the price of admission.

It was very good, unexpectedly good, the first one was fantastic but I was sincerely afraid of this second part not being the same quality as the first one but oh boy, I was so wrong! The chemistry between Jon Bertanhal and Ben Affleck as brothers is amazing, I laughed a lot and enjoyed the plot a lot

I'm grateful that they kept the same actors than the first one even when they are more prominent and probably expensive now, thanks for this amazing movie !

Almost a 9. I didn't really like the first one. BA was unconvincing, until the end. In this one, Bernthal (made for this role) balances him out. Great story, funny, and crazy action scenes. Ghost chick was f* awesome.

Wow. Nearly a decade later and they managed to not only keep the foundations of the film in tact but improve upon them with more action scenes and more impactful heartfelt moments. (and admittedly less accounting stuff, because😴)

Jon Bernthal has a much bigger role in this second installment and elevates the entire experience. Bernthal and Affleck portray a great, albeit complicated, brotherly bond that wasn't explored in the first film. I know they have been working on this sequel for a long time but I'm glad it finally made it's way out of production hell as this is a masterclass in how to revive or reboot a franchise.

This is not to say the movie doesn't have it's flaws, because it certain does. My main gripe with this film is it was doing WAY too much all at once. It was constantly jumping to the next thing because I guess they decided that having a moment to breathe or ponder on what just happened would be boring. This unfortunately ruins the whole flow and pacing of the movie, but it's still a blast and an improvement from the first movie, in my opinion.

To me, this second installment feels like the later seasons of Reacher—familiar characters, same world, but the magic is gone. It’s like the main actor (and writers, director etc.) either overthought the role or cracked under the pressure of following a hit.

I've rewatched The Accountant plenty of times over the past nine years and loved it every time. Anna Kendrick and Ben Affleck had great nerdy chemistry, while Jon Bernthal and the action scenes delivered the adrenaline. But what really hooked me was Christian Wolff himself—a neurodivergent loner with Savant Syndrome, living a Prepper lifestyle out of an Airstream packed with hidden treasures.

This sequel mostly ignores that. Instead, it shifts focus to a new character, Anais (Daniella Pineda), who just didn’t grab me. Jon Bernthal gets a bigger role too, but all it does is pull focus away from The Accountant—making the whole thing feel like a big miss.

Preferred the first one, this was OK, but didn't really hold my interest. 🤔
