Love that this exists because its one of two Babs Stanny movies in color available on Blu-ray. It's this, The Violent Men, and also the Charlie's Angels episode she did Toni's Boys.

Most people who didn't live through the 70s won't be able to appreciate this. That's okay, though, because there's no arguing against this not being a very slow, deliberate haunted house tale. It takes a lot of patience and I can't see how this would be scary to any modern movie watcher.

There are a couple of spooky images and the story of how the house became haunted is interesting enough. The way that the characters quickly shake off the odd things happening in the house is pretty funny. The seance sequences are laughable, too.

If you're someone who finds nostalgic value in the movies and TV of a particular time, or if you can appreciate the mood and atmosphere that this movie attempts to create, you might enjoy this.
