Love that grainy film look, caught a few hearty keks and bismillah beats made me positively fucking lose it. Talia is also hot as fuck
A girl, bored with her life (and seeing her back to it at the end, you really understand why), wanders around following different groups and people she comes across: activists, neo nazis, film-makers, terrorists in training, jumping from one to the next by chance, opportunism or betrayal, but mainly lies.
It's often funny, in different ways, and mostly carried by Talia Ryder that is stunning. The nazi guy is pretty good too. The rest a bit less. The film-maker pair works in the beginning but their monologues become tiring after the third time, though the shooting at the ending of it is epic.
It's a view into some more or less present ways of thinking in the US these days, though it seems a bit weird to present some activists on par with neo-nazis and terrorists. Though since the beginning also hints that Pizzagate was real...
The road-trip like atmosphere and discovery of life epic is a bit dimmed when you realize that everything (and I mean almost every single detail in every step of the story) is just a series of opportunities that are exclusively accessible because she's a very hot young white woman.
Maybe the activist group would have accepted anyone. Not clear. But after that:
She is
spotted as out of place in the neo nazis meeting
, but it's ok cause she's white.
There she
gains a sugar daddy
because she's hot and the guy wants her.
She gets an
acting job
for the same reason (also cause she's a good liar I guess).
She's saved from
the shooting
because she's hot and the guy wants her.
She can escape
the camp
because she's hot and the guy wants her.
