Beautiful Disaster

Well if you like watching romance, comedy and deathly embarassing situations then you will definitely like this movie. Some situations are also so absurd, that it gets annoying - but the movie definitely keeps you on your toes and causes you to have emotions when watching it. Therefore I do feel like it deserves a great rating - it's about the experience and pleasure and emotions you encounter during the movie and this you will if you like the above mentioned things. So the movie is something like a 7 or an 8, but I do know that certain people will get annoyed. This is also set from a womans perspective - this makes the men completely not understand what's happening, but in a way I as a man can confirm, that female behavious is often exactly that - i.e. She can like you or maybe event WANT you but she will act in an absurdly and an unexplainable manner, often not knowing herself what she wants or why she acts the way she does... Similarly the movie might go in those directions...

6.5 - a decent steamy romance, average but close to good

Horrible. Started watching it only because of Dylan and finished only because of him 😂

This started of as a 7/10 then dropped to a 6/10 and then finally a 5/10.
A will they won’t they romcom, not so bad boy not so good girl movie, nothing new there….
At the half way mark it dawns on you that the movie doesn’t work, the cast are good, the overall story is good, it’s just the way it’s all chopped up and the timing is all wrong……
These aren’t collage/university kids, they should be fresh out of college into their first/second year of work, getting kicked down by life!
It should have started with being conned by her father and her leaving to start a fresh, somewhere new, then the romantic storyline.
Ending with her getting pulled back in and the boyfriend coming to find her, the story was good just some of it told in the wrong order….
This said, they could do a follow up and make it about them doing risky deals and gambling with some fight scenes and I’d watch that…

they totally screwed up the book!!!

What a strange direction to go for an adaptation. The characters were ok I guess but the plot was all over the place. Each scene should follow or at least connect with the previous ones but this was fully random. Just a rush of scenes in order to get to the end.
If you're looking for a comedy, the humor was pretty good but otherwise there wasn't much to it.

It's a pretty awful rom-com. I only stuck around because the lead actress has a nice rack.

Horrible adaptation of what should have been a very straightforward adaptation. The book was written perfectly to be a movie or even more a series. They screw up the story from the opening credits and just keep rearranging and changing events, even removing the most important elements of the story.

all of the text in my copy was in German, so that made me chuckle every time I saw it. The guy who's supposed to be the 'safe' love interest looks old enough to be Abby's dad. This garbage was horrible lol
Ok I actually finished it and Virginia Gardner carried this entire film on her back, she was doing The Most and I applaud her for it. The Sprouse boy was terrible lmao

Jamie McGuire should have had her name removed from this movie. Wtf were they thinking keeping her name attached?

[spoiler] they should of rewrote the script without her bonkers ass and made the characters super left wing to fuck with her. also lol at all the After movie crossover/easter eggs. [/spoiler]
